F\u00fcr den Abend hatten wir uns Tickets f\u00fcr die 25. Austragung des Virginia Tattoo reserviert. Austragungsort des Tattoos war die Scope Arena (eine Eishockeyhalle). Bereits Stunden vor der Vorstellung fanden rund um die Eishalle verschieden Veranstaltungen statt, z. B. eine Drumline Battle (ein Variante des Basler Offiziellen) oder verschieden Darbietungen der Formationen, ein sog. Hullabaloo:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1513\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1513\" style=\"width: 840px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-1513\" src=\"http:\/\/jellyfish.li\/jellyfish\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/35BE42F1-8393-415E-818B-BD262B40F3A8-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"630\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1513\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Scope Arena Norfolk (home of the Norfolk Admirals9<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Das Tattoo selbst liess keine W\u00fcnsche offen, auch wenn es etwas typisch amerikanisch sehr milit\u00e4risch, patriotisch daherkam \u2026<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-1514\" src=\"http:\/\/jellyfish.li\/jellyfish\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/65099289-D489-4D8C-957C-E97E61265453-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"630\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Sehnlichst von uns erwartet gab es auch einen Auftritt eines Fife and Drum Corps:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1515\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1515\" style=\"width: 840px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-1515\" src=\"http:\/\/jellyfish.li\/jellyfish\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/772004B6-6D32-4A52-9C33-B1EE7E0A03EE-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"840\" height=\"630\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1515\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">U.S. Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Etwas \u00fcberraschend dann der Auftritt der Band of the Netherlands Mounted Arms Regiment, sie kannten wir schon von Basel und ihr damaliger Auftritt war der Ursprung des Rolli-Lieblingsmarsches \u201edr Keenig\u201c.
