Zuerst zwar noch etwas zaghaft, dann aber immer strahlender zeigte sich die Sonne, wenn auch das Thermometer um die 10 Grad stecken blieb. Auf der Fahrt von Portland nach Boothbay Harbour zeigte sich die Farbenpracht des Indian Summers einmal mehr. Meilen entfernt.
